how does belkyra work
Belkyra™ is made up of deoxycholic acid, a substance naturally found in the body that targets and destroys fat cells. When deoxycholic acid comes into contact with fat cells, it disrupts their cell membranes, releasing the cell's contents into the surrounding tissue. These contents, primarily free fatty acids and glycerol, are harmless. While there may be some temporary swelling and inflammation, the body quickly processes these substances, either returning them to the liver or eliminating them through the kidneys. After the inflammation subsides, the treated area has fewer fat cells, effectively reducing the appearance of a double chin.
