While she has worked as an intellectual property litigator, patent and trademark agent in prominent Toronto firms for many years, Mala has more recently pivoted to healthcare management and holds a Certificate in Health Law from Osgoode. She is an effective communicator and a sought-after speaker on various legal and compliance topics. Recently, she was also invited to join the Excellence in Board Governance Program jointly offered by McGill University and Women in Bio.
